Press the selector corresponding to OK to start descaling or ESC to descale later

Potential cause:
The water softener filter is exhausted.

1. Press the selector corresponding to OK if you want to replace the filter now

Otherwise, press ESC to replace later.

2. Extract the tank and exhausted filter

3. Take the new filter out of its packet

The date indicator disk varies according to the filter provided.

4. Press the cogwheel button to enter the "Settings" menu

5. Scroll through the menu items by pressing Next, until "WATER FILTER" is displayed

6. Press "WATER FILTER"

7. Turn the date indicator disk until the next 2 months of use are displayed

Please note:
The filter lasts about two months if the appliance is used normally.

Then, press next:

8. To activate the filter:

Run tap water through the hole in the filter as shown until water comes out of the openings at the side for more than a minute.

Then, press next:

9. Fill the tank with water

10. Insert the filter in the water tank and immerse it completely for about ten seconds, sloping it and pressing it lightly to enable the air bubbles to escape

Then, press next:

11. Insert the filter in the filter housing and press as far as it will go

Then, press next:

12. Close the tank with the lid, then replace the tank in the machine

13. Position a container under the hot water spout (min. capacity: 500 ml)

Then, press OK:

Delivery begins and stops automatically. The filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.
