Possbile cause:
The water softener filter is exhausted.

How-to guide

1. Press the settings menu

2. Select "Replace water filter" and press "Next"

3. Press "OK" to enter the guided procedure

4. Extract the water tank and exhausted filter

Press "Next" to continue.

5. Remove the new filter from the packaging and turn the date indicator to view the next two months

6. Please note:

The filter last about two months if the coffee machine is used normally. If the coffee maker is left unused with the filter installed, it will last a maximum of three weeks.

7. Press "Next" to continue

8. Activate the filter

To activate the filter, run tap water through the hole in the centre of the filter until it comes out of the openings at the side for more than a minute.

9. Extract the water tank and fill with water


10. Insert the filter in the water tank and immerse it completely for about ten seconds, sloping it and pressing it lightly to enable the air bubbles to escape

Press "Next".

11. Insert the filter in the housing and press as far as it will go

Press "Next".

12. Close the tank with the lid and put the tank back in the coffee machine

13. Insert the descaling spout

Press "Next".

14. Position an empty container with a minimum capacity of 0.5 litres under the descaling spout

Press "OK" to activate the filter. The coffee machine delivers hot water, then stops automatically.

15. Press "OK" to go back to the homepage

The filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.
