After descaling, make sure to thoroughly rinse the espresso unit

Remove the water softener filter (if present)

Fill the tank with descaler solution
Obtain descaler solution by dilating the descaler with water, following the instructions on the pack.

Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the coffee maker.
The ON light comes on.

Make sure that the filter holder is not in place and position a container under the cappuccino maker

Press the express coffee/hot water button and deliver about 1/4 of the solution in the tank
At intervals, turn the steam dial to deliver water from the cappuccino maker. Then, interrupt the water delivery by pressing the express coffee/hot water button button and leave the solution to work for about 5 minutes.
Repeat this another 3 times until the tank is empty.

Rinse the tank well and fill it with clean water (without descaler)
Put back in the coffee machine.

Press the express coffee/hot water button
Deliver water until the tank is empty.

Rinse the tank well and fill it with clean water (without descaler) again
Put back into the coffee machine.

Deliver water until the tank is empty.
