If the water in your area is hard, lime scale deposits may build up over time. These deposits may affect the correct operation of the machine.
It is suggested to descale the machine after 60
uses.
Descale the machine using commercially available descaling products for drip coffee makers. Follow the instructions provided with these products.

Dilute the descaler in the jug, following the directions on the packaging of the descaler.
2.
Pour the descaling solution in the water compartment.

Place the jug in the non stick plate.
2.
Switch the machine on and let the equivalent of one cup run through.

Switch off the machine.

Switch the coffee maker back on and let the solution through until the tank is completely emptied.
2.
Dispose the descaling solution in the jug.
In order to properly rinse the machine after descaling, operate the machine with water only for at least 3 cycles (3 full tanks of water).

Fill the jug with fresh clean water and pour it in the water tank.
2.
Make sure the filter holder is empty. Remove any coffee paper, pre-ground coffee or coffee residues.
3.
Switch on the machine and allow all the water to run through until the tank is empty.
4.
Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 for a second rinse.
5.
Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 for a third and final rinse.
The warranty is not valid if the cleaning operation described above is not carried out regularly.
