Message: REPLACE WATER SOFTENER FILTER, PRESS OK TO START
Try this solution
Press "OK" to replace the filter, or "ESC" to carry out the procedure later
Possbile cause:
The water softener filter is exhausted.
Follow the instructions below for replacing the water filter:

"REPLACE WATER SOFTENER FILTER, PRESS OK TO START" appears on the display
Press "OK".

"Remove current filter before installing a new one" appears on the display
Press the lock button to open the front door.

Extract the water tank and exhausted filter

Press "Next"

Take the new water filter out of the package
Then turn date indicator to the next 2 months.
Note
The filter lasts about two months if the appliance is used normally. If the coffee maker is left unused with the filter installed, it will last a maximum of three weeks.

Press "Next" to continue
"Back" to go back to the previous screen
"Cancel" to cancel the operation

Run water into filter hole until it comes out to activate the filter
Run tap water through the hole in the filter as
shown in the figure until water comes out of the
openings at the side for more than a minute.
Then, press "Next".

Fill the tank with water

Insert the new filter in the water tank and immerse it completely for about ten seconds, sloping it and pressing it lightly to enable the air bubbles to escape

Insert the filter into the filter housing in the water tank and press as far as it will go
Then press "Next".
"Insert filter in housing and push down fully" is displayed.

Press "Next" to continue
"Insert water tank" is displayed.

Close the tank with the lid, then put the tank back in the machine and close the front door
Then press "Next".
"Position 0.5l container under spouts. Press OK to fill filter" is displayed.

Position 0.5l container under spouts
Then press OK.
"Rinsing underway. Hot water from spouts" is displayed.
Delivery begins and stops automatically.

Wait until "Water filter installed: press OK" is displayed
Press OK.
The filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.
