Possible cause:
The magnets in the stirrer attract traces of iron naturally present in the hot chocolate powder.
Follow the step-by-step guide:

Lift the lid and remove the funnel by pressing the release button

Extract the steam spout and "choco" or "aero" stirrer
3
Wash all the components thoroughly with hot water and mild washing-up liquid
All components are dishwasher safe, placing them in the top basket of the dishwasher.

Put back all the components in the coffee machine
