Message: REPLACE WATER SOFTENER FILTER, PRESS OK TO START

Try this solution

Press the selector corresponding to“ OK” to replace the filter, or ESC to carry out the procedure later

Possbile cause:
The water softener filter is exhausted.


Follow the step-by-step guide:

How-to guide

1. Remove the water tank and used up filter

2. Remove the new filter from the packaging

3. Press the selector corresponding to "REPLACE WATER FILTER"

4. Turn the date indicator disk until the next two months of use are displayed

Then, press the selector corresponding to "NEXT>". "RUN WATER INTO FILTER HOLE UNTIL IT COMES OUT" is displayed.

5. Run tap water through the hole in the filter until water comes out of the openings at the side for more than a minute

Then, press the selector corresponding to “NEXT>”.

6. Extract the tank from the appliance and fill with water

"IMMERSE FILTER IN THE WATER TANK LETTING AIR BUBBLES ESCAPE" is displayed.

7. Insert the filter in the water tank and immerse it completely for about ten seconds, sloping it and pressing it lightly to enable the air bubbles to escape

Press the selector corresponding to “NEXT>". "INSERT FILTER INTO ITS HOUSING AND PUSH IT DOWN TO BOTTOM" is displayed.

8. Insert the filter in the filter housing and press as far as it will go

Press the selector corresponding to "NEXT>". "INSERT WATER TANK" is displayed.

9. Close the tank with the lid, then put back the tank in the machine

"PLACE 0.5L CONTAINER UNDER SPOUTS, PRESS OK TO FILL FILTER" is displayed.

10. Place the container under the hot water/steam spout and press "OK"

Delivery begins and stops automatically. The filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.
